On April 9th, 2024, Screenloop released the following product enhancements:

  • Interview AI Assistant

  • Ability to edit active job workflows

  • Outlook Email Integration

1. Interview AI Assistant

We are introducing our new AI interview assistant! It can handle any interview-related question, whether it's about the candidate's views or their motivation and tech experience.

To take full advantage of our AI Assistant and all its capabilities, navigate to one of the interviews you've recorded. Once you've selected the interview of your choice, find and click on the 'Assistant' tab.

Upon clicking this tab, you'll be presented with an intuitive interface where you can begin asking your questions.

2. Ability to edit active job workflows

We've added the ability to edit active workflows, increasing flexibility. Users can now adapt their recruitment process on the go, responding to shifts in strategy or new requirements. This empowers users to make effective decisions suited to their unique circumstances.

To edit a job workflow, you should go to Job Workflow on your Organisation Settings. View the Job Workflow you want to edit by clicking on the job workflow name. Then you will see the Edit button in the top right corner.

Add and Reorder job stages

You can add new job stages even if the Job Workflow has already jobs assigned. Press the Edit button to edit the Job Workflow, the Add Stage button will allow you to add a new stage. Click the Add Stage button and insert the new stage name or choose an existing stage on the dropdown list. The new stage will be added at the end of the list, it will be the last card, click the ‘>’ to see it. The stages can be reordered, you just need to drag and drop each card.

Rename job stage

After pressing the Edit button, you can rename a stage. Press the ellipsis button and then press the Rename option. When you save your changes, the stage name will be updated on the Job details that have that workflow assigned (Job workflow section and Pipeline). Additionally, it will also impact all candidates in the renamed stage. The new stage name will be displayed on the Candidates list and the Candidate details page.

Delete an existing job stage

You can also delete a job stage. Start by pressing the Edit button to edit your Job Workflow. Then press the ellipsis button and select the Delete option. When there are candidates in the stage, the ‘Remove Job Workflow stage’ modal is displayed and you need to move them to a new stage. Select the new stage on the dropdown. To finalise, press the Remove Stage button.

All candidates will be moved to the selected stage. A new “Move to stage” entry will be added to each candidate activity feed. The action points for the previous stage of the candidates will be “removed” if they exist. And new action points will be created if the candidates are moved to a stage with an interview (e.g., Schedule Interview). If there are auto-triggers enabled, no emails will be triggered by deleting the job stage.

Note: Default Job Workflows cannot be edited.

Update interview questions and scorecards within job stages

You also have the option to update interview questions and scorecard templates for a job stage. Click the edit button on the desired workflow, then press the ellipsis button and select 'Edit' on the stage you wish to modify. Finally, select your preferred template and save your changes.

3. Outlook integration

As part of our strategy to expand integrations, we're excited to announce that Outlook is now included in our suite of email options. This allows you more choices when integrating your email client with our platform.

To connect your Outlook account, begin by clicking on your user avatar located in the top right corner. This will take you to the User Settings menu. Then, select the 'Connect' option under 'Email' in Integrations.

After pressing the Connect button, a new window will appear where you can select the Microsoft Outlook option.

Once selected, you will be redirected to the Microsoft login page where you should input your email address and password. After all is done, a success message will appear saying the Outlook connection is complete.
