On July 18th, 2024, Screenloop released the following product enhancements:
Bulk candidates review
Offer letters
More HRIS integrations
Self-service
1. Bulk candidates review
Reviewing several candidates in a row is now possible with Screenloop. To ensure that you can better assess your candidates' qualifications and save time, you can take advantage of this new feature in multiple places on the platform, including:
Candidates list
On the candidates page, by selecting 1 or more candidates, a new "Review Candidates" button will appear.
When pressed, a new screen will be displayed with the candidate's profile summary, the respective Resume/CV (if the candidate has one) and the answer to the Custom Application Questions from the Application Form (if any). The number of candidates to review will also be presented.
In the upper right corner of this new screen, there are 4 new actions:
Add Note - which allows you to leave comments and tag other users to facilitate collaboration;
Reject - the ability to reject the candidate and select the reject reason. If you think you will use the same rejection reason for the remaining candidates, just choose the option ‘Remember the reason for this list’ and it will appear pre-filled for the next candidates;
Move to the next Stage - the ability to move the candidate being reviewed to the next stage of the job workflow;
Skip - option of not taking any concrete action, for example when you don't know what to do with a candidate.
Once all candidates are reviewed, a review summary will be presented to give an idea of what was done.
Job Pipeline
In the Job Pipeline tab, a new 'Review Candidates' button will be available, allowing you to use this feature with all the functionalities mentioned and also available in the candidate page flow.
Please note that by default, the ability to bulk review candidates has been enabled in the first stage of all workflows. However, you can change this behaviour if you find that the first stage is not the right one for your use case.
To make this change, go to Settings > Customisation > Job Workflows and select the workflow and stage you want to edit.
Once there, it's possible to see a new “Does this stage include bulk candidate review process?” option that should be enabled/disabled according to your needs.
2. Offer letter
Sending offer letters to your candidates is now possible in Screenloop. To start using this feature, it is first necessary to set up one or more Offer Letter templates.
To do this, go to Settings > Customisation > Offer Letters and select the "Add Offer Letters" option.
Once the option is clicked, you will be able to start configuring the template. In this configuration, new variables specific to the offer scenario have been introduced and can be used whenever applicable - salary, equity, starting date and working hours.
When used, the information related to the variables will be requested at the time of sending the offer to the candidate. It is also possible to preview the offer to understand its appearance. A default offer template will be available in your account.
When you've set up your offer letter, you'll need to define the stage in the workflow at which you'll be able to send an offer. To do so, go to Settings > Customisation > Job Workflows and select the workflow and stage you want to edit and enable the offer.
Please note that offer enablement will only be available in one stage per workflow.
Additionally, an email template can also be created to be used when sending the offer. For more information on how to create email templates, see this article.
Sending an offer to a candidate can be easily done through the candidates page and/or on the candidate details page, by selecting the option ‘Send Offer’.
As soon as the option is selected, a modal with 3 steps is displayed where you need to:
Select the Offer letter template to send to the candidate
Add the Offer details according to the variables added to that offer letter
Define the Offer email to send to the candidate
After pressing 'Review and Send', a summary of the information regarding the variables present in the Offer letter will be presented, making it possible to have access to a preview before sending the offer to the candidate.
As soon as an offer is sent, an entry is created in the candidate's activity to provide visibility of this action and, if applicable, revoke the same offer. It's not possible to send two offers for the same candidate.
3. More HRIS integrations
With our Zelt integration, we now offer a third HRIS integration, allowing you to push candidate data from our ATS to your HRIS.
Before being able to export any data, you need to integrate Zelt and that can be accomplished on the Integrations settings menu.
Once the connection is set, you can export your candidate's data from the following sections of Screenloop:
On the Candidates list page, Hired tab, click on the ellipses on the right side and the option 'Export to Zelt' will be visible.
On the Candidates details page, click on the ellipses on the top right side and the option 'Export to Zelt' will be also visible.
Once the Export button is pressed, a success message appears. If you have any questions, please reach out to your CSM.
4. Self-service
With the addition of more self-service features, you can now customise the ability to auto-record interviews and/or the recording consent type of your organisation, according to your needs and preferences.
In the Settings > Recordings menu, you'll find these new options.
For the Auto-recording feature, you can define whether to enable or disable the setting for the entire organisation, a user, or a subset of users:
For the Opt-out feature, the same behaviour applies. Here, you can define whether to enable or disable the setting for the entire organisation, a user, or a subset of users:
