This page quickly compares against industry best practice guidelines, highlighting key trends and behaviours.
Who can access analytics? Admin, Recruiters and Hiring Managers have access to organisation-wide analytics. While Interviewers can only access analytics from their own interviews.
1. Finding the Interview Analytics page
Click Analytics in the left navigation menu.
Note: If you are a basic users who has not been assigned to any Interviews, you will not see the Analytics icon.
Under Intelligence, Select Interviews.
2. Reviewing the Interview analytics data
Let's break down the key metrics, explain how they are calculated, and show you how to leverage data-driven insights to improve your hiring process. Metrics also include comparisons with the previous equivalent period based on your selected date range. For example, if you select the last 7 days, you'll see a comparison with the 7 days before that.
Interviews
The total number of recorded interviews that took place for the selected period.
To specify a period, refer to the filters section of this article.
Duration
Gives you the average interview duration for all recorded interviews during the selected period.
Interactivity
Interactivity offers the ability to understand how often conversation switches between participants.
How does it work? Takes into account Considers monologue frequency and number of participants in each interview.
The best practice guideline is anything above 5 (on a scale of 1-10). Meeting this guideline ensures a dynamic, balanced conversation.

Interview Quality Score
The Interview Quality Score provides an overall rating for recorded interviews based on key performance metrics.
The score is then calculated as:
30% Talk Ratio
20% Talk Speed
10% Longest Monologue
20% Punctuality
20% Interactivity
A score of 75% or above aligns with best practices and indicates strong interview performance.
Interview Quality Score History
Interview Quality Score History gives a breakdown of the interview quality score by day, week or month depending on the selected timeframe.
Talk Ratio
Talk Ratio measures the percentage of time the interviewer speaks during an interview. This works by comparing the interviewer's speaking time to the candidate's.
An ideal Talk Ratio is 30-40%. This is to allows the candidate enough time to answer all questions and to express himself comfortably.
Talk Speed
Talk Speed measures how fast the interviewer speaks during an interview. This is calculated as the number of words spoken per minute.
For English interviews, the ideal speed is 130-150 words per minute. This metric should also be monitored for non-native English speakers.
Why? Speaking too fast can impact a candidate's performance and comprehension. A clear, steady pace helps create a more comfortable interview experience.
Longest Monologue
Longest Monologue measures the maximum continuous speaking time of an interviewer, regardless of word count.
This is calculated by tracking the longest uninterrupted period the interviewer speaks during an interview.
Shorter monologues indicate a more balanced conversation, ensuring candidates have ample opportunity to speak.
Punctuality
Punctuality tracks how early or late an interviewer joins the interview, by measuring the time difference between the scheduled and actual join time.
The best practice is to aim for 0 minutes or earlier to ensure candidates aren’t kept waiting.
This is important as lateness can lead to candidate dissatisfaction and dropouts if it happens frequently.
