Requirements
Before starting, ensure you:
Have an active Screenloop account with Admin permissions
Have an Ashby account with Admin permissions
Have permission to generate API keys in Ashby
You can access Ashby API settings directly here:
Ashby API Keys
Generate an API Key in Ashby
In Ashby:
Go to Admin > Ashby API > API Keys
Click + New
Step 1: Create the API Key
Enter a name such as Screenloop
Click Create API Key
Step 2: Copy the API Key
Copy and securely store the generated API key
Important: Store the API key safely, as it may not be visible again later.
Connect Ashby to Screenloop
To complete setup:
Log in to Screenloop
Go to Settings > Integrations
Click Connect next to Ashby
Paste the API key into the connection form and click Connect.
What Happens After Setup?
Once connected:
Open roles and candidate data will sync automatically
Interview activity will synchronise between platforms
Hiring teams can manage recruitment workflows more efficiently
Things to Keep in Mind
Admin permissions are required in both platforms
API keys should be stored securely
If the API key is deleted or rotated in Ashby, the integration may disconnect
