Finding CNPS Explainability

  1. Navigate to Analytics β†’ Candidate Pulse.

  2. Click the CNPS Explainability tab.

CNPS Responses Overview

CNPS is broken down into Promoters, Neutrals, and Detractors based on candidate survey responses:

  • Promoters (9–10): Candidates highly satisfied and likely to recommend your hiring process.

  • Neutrals (7–8): Candidates satisfied but unlikely to actively promote.

  • Detractors (0–6): Candidates unlikely to recommend your hiring process.

This section gives a quick visual overview of candidate satisfaction distribution.

Bubble Chart Visualisation

The CNPS Explainability tab features an interactive bubble chart to visualise the impact of different attributes on your CNPS:

  • Bubble Size: Shows magnitude of impact on overall CNPS.

  • Bubble Position: Positive vs negative contribution.

  • Filter & Drill-Down Options: Jobs, Departments, Locations, Job Stages.

This chart allows you to see at a glance which areas of your process are driving positive or negative experience.

Topic Detection

CNPS Explainability is enhanced by insights from open-text follow-up questions:

  • Detects recurring themes mentioned by candidates (e.g., communication, interview structure, speed).

  • Shows frequency of mentions and trends across filters.

  • Filters available: Department, Job, Date, Survey Track, Location.

This helps you understand why certain areas contribute positively or negatively to CNPS.

Using CNPS Explainability Effectively

  1. Prioritise improvements: Focus on jobs, departments, or stages negatively impacting CNPS.

  2. Replicate best practices: Identify roles or teams driving positive CNPS to model their approach.

  3. Track changes over time: Compare weekly or monthly CNPS impact to evaluate improvements.

  4. Combine with Sentiment Analysis: Cross-reference candidate feedback for deeper understanding.
