Our AI-powered features are designed to reduce administrative work, organise interview information and provide useful insights to hiring teams, while keeping people at the centre of hiring decisions.
AI-generated outputs are intended to assist users, not replace human judgement or decision-making. So, customers remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated information and making their own hiring decisions.

Screenloop may introduce additional AI-powered functionality from time to time. And AI features available to a customer may depend on the Screenloop product and services included in their subscription.
How Screenloop uses AI
Screenloop’s AI capabilities may use a combination of third-party AI technologies, machine learning models and Screenloop-developed functionality.
Where a third-party AI or machine learning provider is used to provide a Screenloop feature, the relevant data may be processed by that provider on Screenloop’s behalf.
Screenloop maintains a list of subprocessors and the purposes for which they process customer data as part of our contractual and data protection documentation. More information, including the list of subprocessors, can be found in our Data Processing Addendum.
AI-generated information
AI-generated information may include summaries, transcripts, classifications, suggested actions, insights or other outputs.
AI systems can make mistakes. Outputs may on occasion be incomplete, inaccurate or misinterpret information contained within an interview or other data.
Customers should therefore:
Review AI-generated outputs before relying on them.
Consider the original interview recording or source information where appropriate.
Avoid treating an AI-generated output as a definitive assessment of a candidate.
Apply appropriate human judgement when making hiring decisions.
Ensure their use of AI complies with applicable employment, equality and data protection laws.
Human decision-making
💡Screenloop’s AI is designed to support hiring teams rather than replace them.
AI-generated summaries, insights, scores or recommendations are not treated as an automatic hiring decision. And Hiring Members remain responsible for determining whether a candidate progresses through a recruitment process, receives an offer or is rejected.
Hiring decisions will go through appropriate human review and consideration of relevant candidate information.
Candidate transparency
Screenloop provides functionality that enables organisations to use interview recording, transcription and AI-powered interview analysis. Organisations determine how recording consent is configured and used within their recruitment processes.
Organisations should ensure that candidates are appropriately informed if they are recorded, and that consent or other legal requirements are addressed before an interview is recorded or processed.
Organisation control
Screenloop aims to provide customers with appropriate control over the use of AI-powered functionality, primarily interview recording, which in turn enables these features.
More information on opt-in/opt-out configuration options available within Screenloop can be found here.
Continuous improvement
Screenloop continues to develop its AI capabilities and may introduce new models, providers or AI-powered functionality.
Where changes materially affect how customer or candidate data is processed, Screenloop will address those changes through its contractual, privacy and subprocessor processes as appropriate.
