Teamtailor Configuration

Screenloop supports Teamtailor as an ATS provider. Once set up and enabled, the users within your organisation will be able to automatically synchronise interviews, open roles, candidates, interview information and more!

Requirements

This guide assumes that you:

  • Have an active Screenloop Account with admin permissions.

  • Have a Teamtailor user account with Admin permissions.

1. Retrieve the API key in TeamTailor

To get started, you need to access the settings page in your TeamTailor account

Under the "Integrations" heading, towards the bottom of the left-hand menu, you will find the API keys.

To create a new API key, click on the New API Key button located at the top right corner of the page.

This will take us to a new window where we can enter a descriptive name and set the scope. Admin scope is required and read/write permissions are necessary.

Copy the API key, as it will be needed to link your TeamTailor account via Screenloop.

2. Get the Company ID

In addition, you will need to make a note of the company ID, which is part of the URL as shown below:

3. Get user credentials

Additionally, you will need to provide a user email and password. It is recommended to create a new account for integration purposes.

Create an account and record the email and password. Make sure to set the role of the account to Recruitment Admin to ensure that it has the correct permissions.

3.1 Create a new user/employee

Find the employee’s tab and click the '+' button to create a new user/employee.

3.2 Required fields

Fill in the required fields and set the Role to Recruitment Admin and click on 'Add Employee'.

3.3 Email invitation

The email address you entered will receive an invitation:

Before clicking 'Create account', you may have to log out of your current account to create a new user password.

If you have not received an invitation you can go to the 'Employees' tab again as in step 3.1 and click on the user's pencil icon to edit their profile.

You will see a link to the invitation and you can click through this to set up the account:

You should now have the account email address and password to continue to enter the credentials into the hub.

⚠️ If your account uses SSO, you will need to create a user differently

3.3b Accounts with Single Sign On

Follow Steps 3.1 and 3.2 to create the employee. Next, you will have to exclude the employee from SSO, under the heading Exclude individual users from SSO login, as detailed on the Teamtailor support page for accounts using Single Sign On.

After the user has been excluded, ensure a password is set and you may have to edit the permissions of the user by accessing the employees' tab and clicking on the cog here:

You will see a page similar to step 3.2 where you can set the role to Recruitment admin.

4. Input the collected data into Screenloop

On the Screenloop settings menu, under Integrations, you can add the details you have collected and click the Connect button.

5. Define Notes Member ID

On the integration setup page in Screenloop, you will see a Notes Member ID option and you should select the member ID, also known as the Teamtailor user (created earlier).

This member ID will be the user responsible for keeping the integration running and posting notes on candidates' timelines.

Congratulations! You can now use your Teamtailor account with Screenloop.
