Teamtailor Integration

Connect Teamtailor to Screenloop to automatically sync jobs, candidates, interviews, and hiring activity.

Screenloop integrates with Teamtailor to streamline recruitment workflows by automatically synchronising open roles, candidate data, interview activity, and hiring updates between platforms.

Who Can Use This Feature?

  • Connect integration: Admins (Screenloop) + Recruitment Admins (Teamtailor)

  • Use integration: Hiring teams across your organisation

Requirements

Before starting, ensure you:

  • Have an active Screenloop account with Admin permissions

  • Have a Teamtailor account with Admin permissions

Retrieve the API Key in Teamtailor

Step 1: Open API Settings

In Teamtailor, go to Settings > Integrations > API Keys

  • Click New API Key

Step 2: Configure API Key

Enter:

  • A descriptive Name

  • Admin scope

  • Read/Write permissions

Both Admin scope and Read/Write permissions are required for the integration to function correctly.

Step 3: Copy the API Key

Generate the API key

  • Copy and store it securely

Important: You may not be able to view the full API key again later.


Retrieve Your Company ID

Your Company ID is part of your Teamtailor URL.

Example:

Copy the Company ID value - you’ll need it during setup in Screenloop.


Create Integration User Credentials

Screenloop requires a Teamtailor user account to maintain the integration.

It is recommended to create a dedicated integration user.

Step 1: Create a New Employee/User

  • Go to the Employees tab

  • Click the + button to add a new employee

Step 2: Configure Permissions

Complete the required fields and set:

  • Role: Recruitment Admin

Click Add Employee.

Step 3: Accept the Invitation

The new user will receive an invitation email.

  • Open the email

  • Click Create Account

  • Set a password

You may need to log out of your current Teamtailor account before creating the new user password.

If the Invitation Email Is Missing

Return to the Employees page

  • Click the pencil/edit icon on the user

  • Access the invitation link directly from their profile


Accounts Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Create the employee following the previous steps

  • Exclude the user from SSO login using Teamtailor SSO settings

  • Ensure the account has:

    • A password set

    • Recruitment Admin permissions assigned

Without excluding the integration user from SSO, the integration may fail to authenticate correctly.


Connect Teamtailor in Screenloop

In Screenloop, go to Settings > Integrations

  • Select Teamtailor

  • Enter:

    • API Key

    • Company ID

    • User Email

    • Password

Click Connect.


Define the Notes Member ID

After connecting:

  • Select the Notes Member ID from the dropdown

This user will:

  • Maintain the integration connection

  • Post notes to candidate timelines in Teamtailor


What Happens After Setup?

Once connected:

  • Open roles will sync automatically

  • Candidates and interviews will synchronise between platforms

  • Notes and hiring activity will appear in Teamtailor timelines

Things to Keep in Mind

  • API keys require Admin + Read/Write permissions

  • The integration user should remain active to avoid sync interruptions

  • SSO accounts require additional setup steps

Additional Tips

  • Use a dedicated integration account rather than a personal employee account

  • Store API credentials securely
