The Screenloop Sidekick is the ideal companion for all interview related matters. This article will focus on how to use and leverage the Sidekick during your Interviews. Information regarding the setup can be found here.
Requirements
This guide assumes that you:
Have gone through the Video Conference tool setup (such as Zoom or Google Meet)
Have installed the Screenloop Chrome Extension here
Have access to a Screenloop account in your organisation
To launch the Screenloop interview Sidekick just join an interview from your calendar (always use the "Join Interview with Screenloop" option).
After this first click, you will first see a page that confirms the name of the candidate and the position he is applying to. Press the "Launch with Sidekick" option.
For the troubleshooting guide if you don't see this page please see the guide here.
Pressing this option will launch the Screenloop interview Sidekick and your Video Conferencing System in one go:
The first section of the Screenloop Sidekick will allow you to see the role you are interviewing for plus the name of the candidate at all times:
The bottom section of the Sidekick is all about interacting with the interview. Here you can write notes that will be timestamped and included with the recording & transcription and add quick reactions in real-time to what is being said by the candidate (for example, you liked a particular answer to one of your questions or on the other hand you found one of the candidate's comments to be inappropriate). These notes & quick reactions can be revised after the interview is completed and will help find and get more insights into the key moments in your interview.
To add a note just type the text and press the enter key. To add a quick reaction just press one of the quick reaction buttons. A note can also be associated with a quick reaction. To achieve this result type the text in the notes section, do not press enter but press one of the quick reaction buttons instead.
Once you start typing notes and including quick reactions the middle section of your interview Sidekick will display all comments and reactions:
It's also possible to mention other users inside the Screenloop organization.
Press @ on the sidekick during an interview or after the recording is available on the notes section (on the Interviews page) and immediately see who's available to be mentioned.
The person who's mentioned will receive an email informing them of that action.
It's also possible to tag your ATS Categories during an interview.
Screenloop retrieves this information directly from your ATS, so there must already be a scorecard in place for that particular role.
During the interview, simply select the Category that was mentioned. Later you can review that information on the Screenloop dasboard.
If no categories are assigned to the Scorecard for that interview stage, the categories will not be displayed on the Screenloop Sidekick.
