Interview Intelligence – Candidate FAQs

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Ever felt like your interview process was repetitive, with similar questions asked by multiple interviewers?

Or that your interviewer was too busy taking notes to fully engage with you?

Or that the process dragged on over several weeks?

Screenloop works with companies that are committed to making interviews fair, unbiased, and consistent. Interview Intelligence is designed to create a better experience for you as a candidate — helping interviews feel more focused, efficient, and human.

What is Interview Intelligence?

Interview Intelligence is a tool that helps companies run better interviews by capturing conversations accurately and consistently.

It allows interviewers to focus fully on you, reduces repetition across interviews, and supports fairer hiring decisions — without replacing human judgment.

How does Interview Intelligence benefit candidates?

Interview Intelligence is designed to improve your interview experience in several ways:

More focused interviews
Interviewers can give you their full attention instead of taking extensive notes.

Less repetition
Interviewers can review previous interviews, so you’re not asked the same questions multiple times.

Fairer evaluations
Decisions are based on what was actually said, not memory or handwritten notes.

Better conversations
Interviewers can build on earlier discussions and ask more meaningful follow-up questions.

The goal is to help you present yourself clearly and consistently throughout the process.

How will I know if my interview is being recorded?

You will always be informed if an interview is being recorded.

This is typically communicated:

  • In your interview invitation

  • When joining the video call (for example, via Zoom notifications)

Recording will never happen without your knowledge.

Can I opt out of being recorded?

Yes. You can opt out:

  • Before the interview

  • At the start of the interview

  • At any point during the interview

Opting out will not affect your chances of getting the job in any way.

Does Interview Intelligence decide whether I get the job?

No. Interview Intelligence does not make hiring decisions.

It supports interviewers by helping them:

  • Capture interviews accurately

  • Share insights with other interviewers

  • Reduce bias and inconsistency

All hiring decisions are made by people, not the tool.

Can I ask for my interview to be deleted?

Yes. You can request deletion at any time by informing your interviewer.

Screenloop is fully GDPR compliant, and you always have the right to request removal of your interview data.

Who can access my interview?

Access is limited to the talent and hiring team involved in your application.

Some companies also provide access to internal DEI champions to help ensure interviews remain fair, unbiased, and consistent.
