Who Can Use This Feature?
Organisations using Zoom Pro or higher
Zoom administrators within your organisation
Screenloop Admin users
Requirements
Before starting, ensure you have:
A Zoom Pro (or higher) license
Admin access to your Zoom account
Screenloop connected to your ATS (e.g. Greenhouse, Workable, etc.)
Configure Zoom Recording Settings
To ensure Screenloop can access recordings correctly, configure Zoom account settings.
1. Enable Cloud Recording
Go to:
Account Management → Account Settings → Recording tab
Enable:
Cloud Recording (must be ON for Screenloop to work)
Option to record active speaker
Option to display participant names in recordings
Cloud recording is required for Screenloop to retrieve interview recordings.
2. Auto-Enable Cloud Recordings
Ensure cloud recording is automatically enabled for all meetings
Do NOT lock this setting off
This ensures all interviews are captured consistently.
3. Auto-Delete Cloud Recordings (Recommended)
To manage storage limits:
Set cloud recordings to auto-delete after 14 days
This helps avoid exceeding Zoom storage quotas.
4. Advanced cloud recording settings
Enable:
Audio transcription
VTT closed caption files
These improve interview transcription and searchability in Screenloop.
Configure Zoom Meeting Settings
Go to:
Account Management → Account Settings → Meeting tab
1. Waiting Room
Recommended configuration:
Enable Waiting Room
Hosts must admit participants manually
Waiting Room only works for licensed Zoom users (not free accounts).
Connect Zoom to Screenloop
To complete setup:
Log in to Screenloop
Go to Settings > Integrations
Find Zoom
Click Connect
You will be redirected to Zoom to authorise Screenloop access.
What Screenloop Will Be Allowed to Do
When connected, Screenloop will:
Automatically enable cloud recording for scheduled interviews
Download interview recordings from Zoom cloud storage
Sync participant metadata (attendance, punctuality, etc.)
Link recordings to candidates in your ATS workflow
Important Notes
Not recommended for interviews.
Screenloop can sync PMI meetings
However, recordings may not reliably match the correct interview
To disable PMI:
Go to Zoom settings
Turn off: “Use Personal Meeting ID when scheduling meetings”
Removing Screenloop from Zoom
If needed:
Go to Zoom App Marketplace
Navigate to Manage > Installed Apps
Select Screenloop
Click Uninstall
Things to Keep in Mind
Cloud recording must be enabled for all users
Auto-recording should not be disabled or locked
Only Zoom Admins can change key settings
Meetings must be properly scheduled through your ATS for best results
Additional Tips
Standardise interview scheduling through your ATS to ensure recordings sync correctly
Check Zoom storage regularly if not using auto-delete
