How to complete a Scorecard

Who can fill in a Scorecard? Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Interviewers

General notes:

  • You can preview the scorecard for an interview ahead of time by going to the Interviews tab > Locate the interview > ellipsis (...) > Interview Kit

  • Scorecards are available for editing once the interview has been scheduled to start.

1. How to fill in a Scorecard in your Actions

  1. Find your pending scorecards in one of the following:

    1. Home > Pending Actions

    2. Candidate profile > Pending Actions

    3. Interviews > Find Interview > Ellipsis > Interview Kit

  2. Select Fill in Scorecard

    1. You will see the scorecard to the left, and the AI Scorecard Assistant to the right of the page

  3. Using the Scorecard Assistant

    1. Recording & Transcript

      • Find the recording at the top of the scorecard assistant. Here you can see the entire interview recording.

      • To view the full interview transcript, select Transcript next to the Video button.

    2. Interview Summary

      • The AI Summary gives an overview of the interview. You can copy this by clicking Copy

      • You can also review Highlights and Key Moments here

  4. Scoring an Attribute

    1. To score an attribute, simply click over the star rating you would like to give a candidate. (See video below)

  5. Filling open text boxes

    1. To fill in open text boxes you can write from scratch, or copy the AI Summary and AI Highlights directly into your box

    2. For an extra helping hand with AI:

      • Click Fill with AI (see video below)

      • If needed, adjust the format here by clicking S for small, M for medium, L for Large, and selecting the bullet point option to format into bullet points

  6. Final rating

    1. Click the appropriate button indicating whether the candidate passed the interview.

  7. Submit the scorecard

    1. Don't forget to submit your scorecard

    2. Select Submit Scorecard on the top right of the page

2. How to fill an Ad-hoc Scorecard

Ad-hoc scorecards allow you to add feedback for candidates, even when the interview or call wasn’t scheduled through Screenloop. Or if an interviewer wants to give feedback but wasn't scheduled on the interview in Screenloop.


This feature is perfect for recording insights from informal phone screens, impromptu conversations, or any additional feedback you want to document or pass onto the hiring team.

  1. Locate the Candidate profile

    1. Open the profile of the candidate you’d like to add feedback for

  2. Open an Ad-Hoc Scorecard

    1. Option 1

      • Select the Feedback tab > Add Feedback > Fill in Ad-hoc Scorecard.

      • Select a Scorecard template

      • Click Create

    2. Option 2

      • Also from the candidates profile, Click the drop-down menu on the top right of the screen > select Fill in Ad-hoc Scorecard

      • Select your scorecard template

      • Click Create

  3. Enter Feedback

    1. Fill in the scorecard fields to provide your feedback. For guidance, refer to steps 1.c to 1.e above

  4. Submit the scorecard

    1. Don't forget to submit your scorecard

    2. Select Submit Scorecard

    3. Your ad-hoc scorecard will now be visible to other Admin or All Users assigned as Hiring Managers for the role. Interviewers will not be able to see your feedback.

Additional note: The use of third-party applications (e.g. Grammarly) could impact user experience, delay application loading times or cause freezing.
