Building Scorecards

Our scorecard feature is a used to evaluate candidates by asking customised questions that capture key feedback after interviews. Scorecards can be assigned to specific job workflow stages, making it easier to track and compare candidate performance throughout the hiring journey. Read on to create and customise your scorecards in Screenloop!

Who can create a scorecard? Only admins

1. Creating a new Scorecard

  1. In Settings > Customisation > Scorecards and hit Add Scorecard on the top right.
    ​

  2. There are two options here:

    • Build a Custom template from scratch

    • Build Based on Template

      • Choose a template from the drop-down box

      • Note: Here you can customise a template that already exists
        ​

  3. Fill out the remaining fields

    • Section

      • Add a section title to your scorecard
        ​

    • Fields

      • Use the drop-down to select if the attributes in this scorecard section should be a 5 star rating, or an open text response
        ​

    • Field Label

      • Give your field / attribute a name
        ​

    • Adding additional fields (if applicable)

      • To add a new field, click the add field button at the bottom of the section
        ​

  4. Deleting additional fields (if applicable)

    • You can delete a scorecard by clicking bin icon to the right of the field
      ​

  5. Changing the order of fields

    • You can re-order fields by dragging and dropping the field with the button to the left of the field (see below)
      ​

  6. Adding a section

    • Add a new section to your scorecard by selecting Add Section
      ​

  7. Deleting a section

    • You can delete a scorecard section via the bin icon on the top right of the scorecard section, not the field bin icon
      ​

  8. Changing the order of sections

    • You can re-order your scorecard sections via the arrow buttons on the top right of the scorecard section.
      ​

  9. Don't forget to hit Save! πŸ˜‰

2. Editing an existing Scorecard

  1. In Settings > Customisation > Scorecards

  2. Locate the Scorecard you wish to edit

  3. Click the ellipsis (...) for that Scorecard on the right

Additional note: The use of third-party applications (e.g. Grammarly) could impact user experience, delay application loading times or cause freezing.
