Interview question templates help standardise interviews and ensure candidates are assessed consistently across roles and stages.
Interview Question templates can only be managed by Admin users.
Create an Interview Question Template
Go to Settings β Customisation β Interview Questions.
Click Add Interview Questions (top right).
Name Your Template - Enter a clear, descriptive template name.
Choose How to Build Your Template
You can:
Start from scratch, or
Build based on an existing template
Start from an existing template to save time and ensure best practices. For short or simple interviews, starting from scratch may be easier.
Add and Manage Interview Questions
Sections - Give each Interview Section a title (e.g. Role-specific questions, Culture fit).
Questions - Edit existing questions or add your own.
You can:
Reorder questions by dragging the 8-dot handle on the left
Delete questions using the trash icon
Add questions by clicking Add Question at the bottom of the section
Add or Reorder Sections
Click Add Section to create a new section
Use the arrow icons to reorder sections
Keep sections focused to make interviews easier to run and score consistently.
Save Your Template
Click Save once youβre finished.
Interview question templates can be edited at any time.
Assign Interview Questions to a Job Stage
To use your interview questions in a job:
Go to Settings β Customisation β Job Workflows.
Locate the relevant workflow, click on the three dots on the right hand side and click on Edit.
Open the stage you want to update.
Toggle Interview to On.
Select your Interview Questions Template from the dropdown.
Save the stage and then Save the workflow.
Assigning interview questions at the workflow stage ensures every interviewer uses the same structured approach.
