Custom Requisition Reasons let your organisation define why a job is being opened, ensuring consistency and clarity across hiring requests.
Benefit: Standardises hiring justifications and improves approval quality.
Before You Start
Job Requisitions must be enabled for your organisation.
Only Admin users can manage requisition reasons centrally.
Requisition reasons are required when creating a job requisition.
Create a Requisition Reason
From the Job Requisition Form
Go to the Jobs tab.
Click Job Requisitions (top right).
Select Add Job Requisition.
In the Reason field:
Select an existing reason, or
Click Create Requisition Reason.
Enter the new reason and click Create and Select Reason.
Continue completing the requisition form.
You can add new reasons without leaving the requisition flow.
From Organisation Settings
Go to Settings β Requisitions β Requisition Reasons β View.
Click Add Requisition Reason (top right).
Enter the reason name and click Save.
To add multiple reasons at once:
Click Add Requisition Reason
Complete each row
Click Save
Edit or Delete a Requisition Reason
Edit a Reason
Go to Settings β Requisitions β Requisition Reasons β View.
Click the ellipsis (β¦) β Edit.
Update the name and click Save.
Delete a Reason
Click the ellipsis (β¦) β Delete.
Select Confirm in the modal.
