Creating and Managing Requisition Reasons

We’ve introduced Custom Requisition Reasons, giving your organisation full flexibility to define why jobs need to be opened. Now, you can create requisition reasons directly in the form whilst creating a requisition, or manage them centrally in your organisation settings.


1. Creating a Requisition Reason

1.1 From the Job Requisition form:

  1. Navigate to the Jobs tab

  2. Click the Job Requisitions button in the top-right corner
    Note: Only available if requisitions have been enabled for your org. See here for more information.

  3. Select Add Job Requisition

  4. In the Reason field, select an existing requisition reason, or click Create Requisition Reason

    • Type your new reason, click Create and Select Reason. This will automatically populate the field

  5. Continue filling out the rest of the form

1.2 From your organisation settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Requisitions > Requisition Reasons > View

    • Here, you’ll see all default and organisation-specific requisition reasons.

  2. Click Add Job requisition in the top right

  3. Add the name, and click Save

    • To create multiple reasons at once. Click Add Requisition Reason, fill out the fields for each reason, and click Save.

    • This reason will become available for selection when creating a new job requisition.

2. Editing and Deleting a Requisition Reason

2.1 Edit an existing requisition reason:

  1. Go to Settings > Requisitions > Requisition Reasons > View

    • Here, you’ll see all default and organisation-specific requisition reasons.To edit a reason click the ellipsis (…) next to it, select Edit.

  2. Update the name, and click Save

2.2 Delete a requisition requisition reason:

  1. Click the ellipsis (…) and select Delete

  2. Select Confirm in the modal.
