If you're onboarding a recruitment agency to support hiring, there are two recommended ways to give them access in Screenloop β depending on how much visibility and control you want them to have.
Option 1: Add the Agency as a User
You can create a user account for the agency within your Screenloop workspace.
How it works:
Assign them to the relevant job(s) as part of the hiring team.
They can upload CVs directly to the role.
If added as a user and assigned to a role, they will be able to see all candidates associated with that job β including those from other sources.
Recommended Access Level
Assign the most restricted role possible that still allows them to upload candidates (e.g., Basic User, if suitable for your workflow).
Only assign them to the specific roles they are supporting.
Option 2: Set the Agency Up as a Source (Recommended for Most Teams)
Instead of giving system access, you can:
Create the agency as a Candidate Source.
Ask them to submit candidates via the application form.
Have them select their agency name as the source when applying on behalf of candidates.
Benefits:
No system login required.
Agencies cannot see other candidates.
Cleaner separation of permissions.
Better data tracking by source.
Which Option Should You Choose?
If the agency needs ongoing collaboration inside the platform β Add as a User
If they only need to submit candidates β Set up as a Source (recommended)
If you're unsure which approach fits your process, Screenloop Support can help you decide based on your workflow.
